Number 5 is Alive!
Filed Under Links, Random | 6 Comments
Totally random blog post, but my husband, brother and I just finished watching the movie Short Circuit. I haven’t seen this movie since I was a kid, I vividly remember watching it and thinking it was the COOLEST movie in the entire world. The greatest thing about watching it again though was all the awesome lines that I missed as a kid because I had no clue what they were talking about. A few of my favorites:
Farmer’s wife: I hope you took the grass out of the glove compartment.
Ben Jabituya: I am thinking she is a virgin. Or at least she used to be.
Ben Jabituya: With excitement like this, who is needing enemas?
Number 5: Well, if you gotta go, don’t squeeze the Charmin.
I vaguely remember Short Circuit 2, but not the specifics.. I’ll have to watch that one next. So I had to google it, and found out they may be making a remake of it! Link
So watching this movie reminded me of how I had the BIGGEST crush on Steve Guttenburg. I remember watching Three Men and a Baby multiple times because I thought he was sooooooooo cute. I mean look at him:
Steve
But my FAVORITE movie of his was Don’t Tell her it’s Me:
I watched that movie hundreds of times. Every time I’d get sick and stay home from school my mom would rent it from the grocery store for me. I had the entire thing memorized. I had a VHS tape of it but after moving a few times we’ve lost it. So I found it on Amazon, apparently it’s under a new name now: The Boyfriend School.
Why? I have no idea. But now I’ve gotta order it.
Now I’m on a sentimental movie kick.. I’ll have to make a list of all the oldies and get them ordered on Netflix.

Phaunt U Testimonials

What just a few of the recent phaunt U Students had to say about the course:
“It was fun! I totally recommend the course, I learned alot and really appreciate being able to easily look back at my binder and bug Kylie for questions she always answers. The one on one support when needed is superb! If you’re thinking about…I say GO FOR IT” Tiffany J.
“I loved the course! Learned a lot of things I didn’t know before. Thank you Kylie for a great course!” Jenny J.
“Several weeks ago, as a Photoshop beginner with the barest bit of knowledge and experience, I signed up for Kylie’s Phaunt U. I didn’t want to fall into the self-taught trap of being able to get things done, but not really knowing how they were done or what was happening when I hit “PLAY.” I wanted a better understanding of all the pieces, parts and variables — a good foundation to build on and practice (over and over and over!), a place to start experimenting and hopefully begin to develop a workflow and style all my own. Kylie’s course turned out to be exactly what I needed. I definitely have more confidence in my abilities with Photoshop, including a more adventurous attitude, and I’m hungry for more. I can’t say enough, and definitely recommend it to anyone who is struggling to understand Layers and Levels and Masks (Oh My!) — and a ton more. My fellow graduates were terrific to learn with, too. It was great to interact with them, get feedback, share a few “lightbulb” moments. Congrats to all of you — all of us!!” Vicki M.
“Kylie’s class is awesome and she does such a great job of explaining things. There is so much that I “get” now as a result of taking this class and I’m so glad I did it.
Thanks again, Kylie for offering this course. I’m so sad it’s over!!” -Evie C.
“Let me just put a plug in here for this amazing class! We’re almost to week 3 and it’s so great!!!! i can’t recommend this enough – very thorough, easy to follow and a great way to learn ps! I’m loving it!!!!” -Kim B.
“I’d say i’m an intermediate user of PS and I have already learned SO much and we’re only on Week 2! It’s really cool actually learning how to do something that an action does. Learn the back-end behind it.” -Stephanie T
“I’m so glad to be a part of the U! Everything is so easy to understand and the videos make it easy to work along step-by-step. The weekly chats help tie everything together and Kylie is always available to answer any questions we may have. Just in the first couple weeks, my post-processing has greatly improved!! I encourage anyone, in any level experience in Photoshop to sign up – you won’t regret it!” – Christina H.
